Jonathan McEowen is a both an innate introvert and a sales super-closer.
The secret to his success? Listening.
Jonathan was born and raised in Dallas by a mom in real-estate development and a dad in social work. An intriguing mixture of athletic and reserved, Jonathan grew up playing baseball, basketball and soccer, then earned his English degree at The University of Texas at Austin, including time spent abroad studying Shakespeare at Oxford University.
Not sure of his next step, Jonathan found work helping out in the Austin office of CLB Partners, Ltd. development. Jonathan excelled, got his real-estate license, and his position evolved. As director of on-site sales for Bridges on the Park, Jonathan worked with Brandon Miller for the first time, selling all 104 condominium units in record time.
Jonathan joined the Brandon Miller Group, and today, has managed over $150M in Austin condo sales contracts from negotiation to close. He works closely with clients, facilitates transactions and manages lead flows for multiple projects, often serving as sole sales agent for a property. For other properties, he supervises a small sales staff, and also helps determine unit mix and price points for new projects.
Jonathan is passionate about creating conscientious residential urban development that improves Austin’s quality of life. Nevertheless, he once spent over a year going door-to-door – via Segway – selling paintless dent repair, which taught him plenty about overcoming objections and hostility in sales. Jonathan loves to work out, likes to eat out, and enjoys hanging out with his fiancée and their dog, Bonnie.
